David traveled to Greenland, the northwest passage and the polar ice above Spitsbergen as part of the U S Coast Guard Art Program, and spent three months at Summit Camp on the Greenland Ice Cap working for the National Science Foundation contractor. This Gallery shows paintings of the Greenland Coast landscape, in these paintings the viewer is transported by the art and begins to feel what David Rosenthal the artist may have felt when inspired to paint the areas scenery.
